Access and Success provides a wide range of supportive services to students who are parenting. Its staff includes social workers who help students access community resources that assist them with everything from finding affordable housing and child care to managing financial issues. The office was launched on the Minneapolis Campus in 1993 with the goal of helping students with children remain in school and overcome obstacles that often derail their educations. In 2000, the program was expanded to include the St. Paul Campus.
Access and Success also supports any student who is facing a basic needs emergency impacting their ability to access food, housing, medical care, child care, and transportation.
