Series 2: Family Materials

In relation to the amount of records saved by Bethune in many of her other activities, this Family series contains limited materials. The most helpful information for researchers may be found in the genealogy subseries, which contains both Terlinden and de Bethune family trees. Limited materials from select family members are listed by member, with the exception of "Vedastavus," which is a play written by Bethune and performed by several family members. The Friends and Tenants subseries consists of many private records and is currently restricted because of financial, medical, and legal records contained within, but may be opened for research in the future. The Pets subseries contains information about Bethune's beloved Husky dogs, but is missing any documentation of her cats.
