This collection includes materials produced by the University Faculty Evaluation, Promotion, and Tenure Committee (UFEPT) and its earlier incarnation, the Faculty Personnel Committee. This includes meeting minutes, correspondence, and other documents.

The bulk of this collection concerns the Faculty Personnel Committee and Rank and Tenure Committee, the predecessors to the University Faculty Evaluation, Promotion, and Tenure Committee, though this balance will doubtlessly shift as time passes and new materials are produced. Materials consist mainly of meeting minutes, though correspondence, memos, and other general materials are included as well, dating from 1937 but most of the materials falling between 1960 and the present.
