Institutional Research Planning and Accreditation Records

This collection includes materials made by the Institutional Studies Committee and earlier organizations that served the same purpose prior to being officially made the Office of Institutional Planning and Research in 1984. Four boxes of studies on the university by outside groups are also included. Materials from the Institutional Studies Committee include information about administrative departments’ assessments, curriculum studies, grading trends, goals, faculty loads, questionnaires, one folder of meeting minutes, and much information on student testing. Materials concerning testing include area tests, freshman testing reports, testing programs from the 1930’s and 40’s, religious tests, and many others. Outside groups with material in this collection include the American Council of Education, CASE, the College Board, College and University Environment Scales, FERA, and Ingersoll Group.
