St. Josesph's Hall was originally built for the purpose of housing the dining services for the campus as well as a place for students and faculty to socialize. The building also contained the home economics department on the 3rd floor and student housing on the 4th. St. Joseph's acted as a predecessor to the Coeur de Catherine, built in 2005.
