This group was known earlier as the CSC Chapter of the NSNA (National Student Nurses Association). A variety of names were used during the 1980s and 1990s: Nursing Club; Nursing Students Association; Student Nursing Association; and Student Nurse Association. It became the Student Nurses Association circa 1991.
