General
Many of the goals of this organization were later taken up by the Food Insecurity Project, a joint initiative of St. Kate's faculty and staff and the Sisters of St. Joseph, which launched the St. Kate's Food Shelf in 2017. In 2020, the President of the university announced the formation of an official St. Kate's/CSJ group, the Food Insecurity and Food Waste Committee, which included five subcommittees (Katies End Hunger, Composting, On-Campus Dining, Food Recovery, and Food Shelf Financial Sustainability).
